Welcome to Panchamaveda - A Certified Organic Farm

Our Certified organic farm and dairy, Panchamaveda is located in Guddadahatti, a border village between Shivamogga and Chikkamagaluru districts, the two gems of the Western Ghats. We warmly welcome you to visit our farm.

Panchamaveda, Truly Organic

Our farm has long experimented with sustainable agricultural methods and all our operations are completely organic. Our cows are fed with home grown organic fodder that is free of pesticides and antibiotics which makes the milk from Panchamaveda the healthiest option.

Organic Farming

A method that keeps nature alive, this process involves the use of biological materials avoiding synthetic substances to maintain soil fertility and ecological balance thereby minimizing pollution and wastage. Panchamaveda makes the greatest use of organic farming and prioritizes wellness.

How we are different?

Philosophy behind Panchamaveda

At Panchamaveda, we make an effort to lead a natural lifestyle. Sadly, this organic and natural way of living now requires an authenticity certificate.

The main objective of Panchamaveda is to correct this deviation, inspire others to practise organic farming and establish this way of life as the new standard.

Genuine Organic Products

Since its inception in 2012, we have been completely organic and have already obtained the NPOP certification.

Keeping the goodness Where it belongs

"Preserving the good where it belongs" Milk is immediately cooled at a temperature below 4°C following the milking process to preserve all nutritious qualities. Unprocessed, raw-milk in its original form (without adding or removing fatness or others) is then transported in a cold chain facility and is delivered at your doorstep while maintaining the temperature.

"Amritam Vai gvam khriramityah tridshadhip , tasmad dadatim yo dhenumamatrim sa Praychhti”.

(Mahabharatha Anu.65-46)

“Cow’s milk is Amrita. This has been stated by Indra, the king of gods. Therefore, if one donates a cow, he donates Amrita”. (*)

“Raj Nighantu”, an authoritative treatise on “Ayurveda” also describes milk as Amrita or Piyush. Panchamaveda milk is natural and free from all types of adulteration and modifications.

RAMA - The Patriarch

Our pure milk contains potassium, rich fats, calcium and phosphorus, all of which assist the regulation of blood pressure. Additionally, it includes conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA), which is crucial for decreasing bad cholesterol and enhancing general heart health.

At Panchamaveda, we don't artificially inseminate our cows. Instead, we allow the natural cycle of insemination to run its course. The bull in our dairy, RAMA, is a member of the renowned Gir breed of cattle from India. This Gir breed of cows contributes significantly to the entire process of making milk at Panchamaveda.

Organic Cow Farm Company

Organic dairy farming at Panchamaveda refers to the nurturing of cows on organic feed, such as pastures (fodder) grown in our own farms without the use of pesticides or fertilisers, as well as the limited use of antibiotics and hormones.

Our 26-acre organic farm is blessed with around 50 Indian cows, which play a central role in
the sustainability of the organic farm and the enhancement of human health. Panchamaveda has strips of natural and man-made forests and the farm also has cultivated bamboo of commercial value on an experimental basis. Our products are a blend of nature and nurture. We place customers' health on top of our priority list and also pledge to protect the natural resources that provide us with an endless supply of nutrients.

Why is Panchamaveda milk the healthiest option?

1. We feed our cows organic, home-grown fodder
2. Our milk has no additional hormones and is free of pesticides and antibiotics.
3. We do not homogenise our milk.
