Meet Lakshmi, Swati, Shravani, and Sharavati. Yes, these are the names of cows whose milk is delivered to you every day. Every cow at Panchamaveda is addressed by name, and we are maintaining track of significant information about each cow since they were born. This has led to our gaushala becoming a crucial research and data hub for surrounding veterinary college students. Here are the members of our Gaushala.

Natural Breeding

"At Panchamaveda, we don't artificially inseminate our cows; instead, we allow the natural cycle of insemination to run its course. The bull in our dairy, RAMA, is a member of the renowned GIR breed of cattle from India. Cattles from this Gir breed contribute significantly to the entire Panchamaveda milk production process. The Gir breed is also known as Bhodali, Desan, and Surti in certain components and is endemic to the Gir hills and woods of Kathiawar as well as the districts of Junagadh, Bhavnagar, Rajkot, and Amreli in Gujarat. Gir cattle are renowned for their capacity to withstand stress and immunity to tropical illnesses. This breed of bullocks is utilised to pull huge loads over all kinds of terrain. Gir cattles have been introduced and are being successfully bred in nations including Brazil, Mexico, the United States, and Venezuela.

1. Gir cattle have a greater value since they are one of the most popular breeds in the Indian dairy industry.

2. The Gir breed is able to endure in any climate.

3. There are many puppies in this breed.

4. The Gir breed is very resistant to illness.

5. Natural mating is preferred over artificial insemination for reproduction.
